- Universal programmable controller (UPC) provides conformance of peripheral equipment and the computer (main board) of a gaming machine.
- The controller of peripheral equipment serves for connecting devices of a gaming machine (buttons, keys, lamps, and also coin acceptor, hopper and bill acceptor) to the main board of the Personal Computer.
- Data exchange between the controller and the computer board is realised through BUS USB (HID - a standard device)
In a standard controller kit possibility of connecting the following devices is realised:
- 9 control buttons;
- 3 electromechanical keys;
- 2 mechanical (electronic) counters (5 or 12 V);
- impulse output of the bill acceptor (5V);
- 10 lamps (12V);
- impulse input of the coin acceptor (12V);
- hopper (operation 0V, output "0" impulse).
